I have been collecting this information for many years and have decided to make it available to our readers. Obviously we cannot recommend all of the material published by each of the following resources. They are listed merely as a service to those who operate bookstores or who otherwise need such information. If you know of others that could be included in this list, send me the information and we will consider adding them. Please understand, though, that I do not have the goal of creating an exhaustive list and I will only add new entries (or even update the existing ones) as I have time and interest. A project such as this could be almost a full-time job if one attempted to be exhaustive. Even so, as a missionary living overseas I have found the CD invaluable, because though I have these books in my library in the States, I do not have ready access to them. Good Books offers hardbound reprints of a wide range of rare books, not only on church history, but also on Bible texts and versions (such as those by Burgon, Cook, and Hoskier dealing with the eighteenth century defense of the Received Text), antiquarian translations of ancient versions such as Gothic, Old Latin, German, Anglo Saxon, and the Syriac Peshitta . Most of the titles deal with Reformed, Presbyterian, and Puritan theology and history, but some materials are Baptist. Please be forewarned that the reprints offered by Good Books are photocopies and the quality is not always very good. Also, the orders are usually not filled quickly, because the books are printed and bound on demand. The hardcover bindings are top grade.

These $9.95 CDs are an inexpensive way for a preacher to build an important library of these resources. To purchase these titles in book form one must go through rare and antiquarian book dealers and pay, say, $75-$200 (and more in some cases) per volume.
